Our Planet

There are many reasons why this series is one of the best series that I have ever seen. And perhaps the best!

First of all, the photography work and the image quality of this saga are incredible. It is fantastic how they manage to record with such quality under the sea, on the trees, in the mountains, from helicopters or using drones. The sharpness of the image achieved is incredible. One of his favorite parts is when he shows the growth of "cordyceps" fungi or the spectacular images of the frozen world.

Secondly, I've always liked BBC nature documentaries. And this saga follows the logic of the documentaries Planet Earth or Africa, among other incredible series of this type.

This time, financed by Netflix and produced by the BBC, each episode has incredible quality from the previous series.

Third, I am a fan of Sir. David Attenborough. His relaxing voice is incredible and lends an epic character to the documentary.

Fourth, the documentary does not stop at just showing the wild world in high definition; It also comes with a powerful warning message about climate change and the destruction of fragile habitats.

It is very important that we take the time to see this type of scientific research work. We can understand, on our televisions, how wonderful our nature is and the devastating effects of human action that endanger species that are invaluable to the ecosystem, cutting down its forests or melting glaciers. If we do not protect natural ecosystems, the natural balance will be lost forever.

“The truth is: the natural world is changing. And we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our food, water and air. It is the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it.”  Sir David Attenborough
